The required attire for taking class at our studio is : leggings {capri length or longer}, a top that completely covers midriff and grippy socks. The reason leggings and a full covered top are required is to keep the heat in the body to prevent injury while keeping muscles warm! This will ensure the utmost safe workout for you! {this also allows our staff to make the proper hands on corrections} The Studio Barre workout is done without shoes and because we care about your safety, we require you wear grippy socks in class. Not only are they super cute, but they will keep your feet in place and everything clean. You can shop our boutique for grippy socks!
Classes and class packages are not interchangeable at other Studio Barre locations. Only Studio Barre Society members can enjoy classes at all studio barre locations for a discounted drop-in price. All packages are non-refundable and expire in 6 tucking months {unless otherwise stated} so be sure to get your booty in class!
We love when you shop in our boutique! If you need to, you can return unworn merchandise within 14 days of purchase (tags still attached) for a boutique credit only (no refunds!)!

“i’ve struggled to find a workout that i consistently went back to, because i typically like to “mix up” my routine. when i came to the studio, i was surprised by the challenge and diversity in exercises. plus – i’d be sore in a new place every time i went. for the first time, i saw the results i had been trying to achieve in years! it’s the only place that i’ve committed to (and look forward to) attending class. my advice is to take a class – i promise no matter your athletic ability you will feel stronger, inspired, and leave here shaking. with an empowering atmosphere and welcoming environment, i love seeing women of all ages, shapes, and sizes feel successful!”
Meet Carlynn.
Her life in a nutshell? She grew up in Bozeman, went to University of Idaho for college, got a cat, graduated, moved back to Bozeman, met a guy, moved to Anchorage, moved back to Bozeman, got married, bought a house, and then adopted a dog. She has always been active physically in order to quiet mental activity. After working in a physically demanding job for years, she began practicing (then teaching) yoga to heal injuries and fell in love with group fitness. When not at barre or yoga, Carlynn loves running or walking with her dog and husband, anything involving sunshine, happy hours and curling up on the couch with a good book (or tv show).

“My first time at Studio Barre was so welcoming and fun that I immediately fell in love. The pace and music allowed my mind to clear, while the mix of exercises provided an amazing workout each and every class. Also, every single instructor brings their own flair to the class and I am so lucky to be part of it!
Best advice for clients ” Listen to your body! Barre is it is accessible to everyone, no matter where you are in life, all you have to do is show up!”

“I love Studio Barre because it is different than other barre classes I’ve taken and been a part of. It’s upbeat, high energy, challenging and fun! I immediately felt welcome and comfortable the first time I walked through Studio Barre’s doors. I love that SB promotes that their workouts are for anybody with any body, so no matter where you are in your fitness journey, there is a place for you at Studio barre where you will feel comfortable, and challenged. Advice I would give to clients new and old is to stay with it and don’t give up! Each class is challenging, and will make you stronger and more confident. Every person is on their own fitness journey. Focus on meeting your own goals and pushing yourself to your very best each class.”
Meet Krista! Krista has been teaching a variety of fitness classes for over 8 years and is passionate about coaching others to find what moves them through individualized wellness habits Barre first started as a way to cross train, as she is an avid runner, but it quickly became a passion! When she’s not busy breaking a sweat, you can find her eating great food, playing cards with friends or adventuring outside. Krista fell in love with studio barre for the muscle burn, the bump in’ beats and the best clients/community in Bozeman!

“Never be afraid to try something. Often times in fitness, we create barriers for ourselves without giving our bodies enough credit. Whether it be staying in the shake a few seconds longer or grabbing a heavier band, your options to challenge yourself are endless if you take a leap and try it out!”
meet mckenna! she grew up in great falls, montana and moved to bozeman in august of 2016 to pursue a psychology degree and a minor in sociology at montana state university. her ultimate goal is to become an addictions counselor! see what she has to say below!
“my barre{ista} journey with studio barre began in november of 2017 when the bozeman branch opened. with chronic knee issues, my second knee surgery occurred just one week before opening, and studio barre has been instrumental in my rehabilitation and strengthening. i love the low impact but high intensity nature of these classes. i can feel myself getting stronger and am confident that this workout will help me stay injury free!
i love studio barre because i work with the best group of ladies, and the atmosphere is so positive and welcoming. my best advice to clients is to stay consistent with coming to class, because the results are very rewarding and are so worth it!”
meet becca. originally from helena, mt, she’s in school with the end goal of becoming a dental hygienist. always down to have a good time, she can bust a move, and will sing your socks off if given the chance (definitely give her the chance!). she is a naturally proclaimed/trained night owl meets morning person with a brain that is a problem solving automatic thinking machine! she adores her family, and can’t wait to have a huge one herself in the future.
“the best advice i have to give (to a client) is to keep going! i first came across barre thanks to lindsay, and i’ve only fallen more in love with it. i started going to class a couple times a week, and slowly increased to 4-5x a week. when i find myself lacking “umph” i suggest going to a new instructor or class time to spice things up! every instructor kicks booty in their own way and it’s a fun way i like to challenge myself.”
sweating has always been a priority for sarah, from running to hiking to gyming it. sarah found barre on the east coast and has been hooked ever since. she can’t get enough of the different muscles that barre helps her strengthen (boooootyyyy), and the fact that it never gets easier, you just get stronger! sarah loves the way studio barre makes clients feel happy, strong, alive and confident when they leave. no matter what kind of day they are having, the hour-long class brings a smile to everyone’s faces, and that could not make sarah happier! her best advice is to smile even during “the shake”.. she promises it helps!
“my barre journey started while i was in high school and i quickly became an addict at a studio in billings, montana. when i moved to bozeman, i continued my barre journey by teaching at the gym on msu’s campus for 2 years. in july 2017, i saw a friend post about the upcoming opening of a new barre studio in bozeman and that they were holding auditions. i had to get more information immediately, and that’s when i reached out to rachel. after taking one class, i was in love with the studio barre brand and style of the class. the cardio snack is exactly the extra push i was looking for in a barre workout!
my advice for a new client is to never give up! yes, the first class is always the hardest (i still remember mine and crawling for the week afterwards because of how sore my body was), but….each and every class gets better, and you feel more confident when coming to class.”
barre{tender} by day and bar tender by night. kelsey has a passion for all things food and drink. she has been working in the restaurant industry for over 10 years and that’s where she met her husband jon. they enjoy fishing, hiking and traveling with their adorable dog waylon.
kelsey first fell in love with barre when she took her first class from the one and only rachel granger back in 2012. fitness has always been a huge part of kelsey’s life and when she discovered the barre technique she wanted to share it with everyone.
my advice to anyone and everyone who wants to try barre
“your first class will be challenging in the best ways possible. you may feel lost, but we all felt the same way. don’t give up and know that you will gain confidence and strength with each class you take.”
studio barre not only gives me a great workout but has also introduced me to the most amazing/ba women in bozeman!
devin grew up all over the world, from rhode island to japan, seattle, italy & everywhere in between, she has been traveling from a very young age and can’t really shake the urge to discover every inch of the planet. in 2016, she married the love of her life and best friend. when devin’s not busy working she’s probably in the mountains trail running alongside her husband and their bear-cub puppy thor.
physical fitness has always been a huge part of devin’s life. it’s her time to decompress and clear her thoughts.
“when i found studio barre, it was a workout like i had never tried before, and i was hooked! barre has not only helped me become stronger in all of my other workouts, but i have met so many incredible and inspiring women, and that’s what makes it all worth it. i love being a part of the studio barre team because of how much it empowers women to feel strong, not only externally but internally as well.
“i love giving a killer workout at studio barre! if you carved out an hour of your time to work out your body, then you bet i am going to deliver a badass workout to make that hour worth your time!”
as a competitive gymnast for many years and high school/collegiate dancer, lex has always enjoyed being active and staying fit. so when her long-time friend, rachel, asked her if she wanted to be a barre{tender}, her answer was “of course.” she immediately fell in love with the studio barre atmosphere, high intensity workouts, and community of inspiring, strong, and beautiful clients. watching people’s lives and bodies transform has been one of the most rewarding and heart-warming experiences of her life.
lex’s advice…
for clients new and old: “never compare yourself to anyone. each class, focus on reaching your own personal goals and you will find that you are stronger than you think!”
outside of the pharmacy and barre worlds, you can catch lex hiking, spending time with family and friends, and exploring montana with her fiancé, kjel, and doggies, ro and trout.
her passion for fitness and the barre technique inspired her to open her own studio and she hasn’t looked back. after the happy, welcoming, and positive energy she felt after her first class at studio barre, she knew it was the perfect fit. the high energy, fast paced, fun (and challenging) class put her right back in her element.
next to barre, she’s a tequila or bust type of gal, and may actually be in love with bacon.
